Shameless

So I know it's kind of shameless to flaunt your accomplishments, but I am really proud of this one. "I broke 90,000 words." It's true. I am getting ever closer to the end of my novel, though I still have a lot to go--but I am no longer worried about writing a "novelia" or "short story." I have exceeded the average novel word count, and have more than enough material to keep going. In fact I'm going to need to cut back considerably. Anyway, just thought you all might want to know.

Rob,
Way to go! That is such an accomplishment, and you are so disciplined and creative that I know you will be successful. Can't wait to read your revised draft--it sounds like a different story from what I read.

Love you.

Wow - that's a lot of words . . . so give me some perspective, how long is, say, The Deathly Hallows? give me something to compare it to - I can't quite picture what 90,000 words looks like :) Oh, and I decided to wait to read it until you're closer to the end of the story - I am an impatient reader you know!!!
