The Iron County Fair! :)

So, what could be more fun than hot jam packed people, pushy vendors, flies swarming around over-sized produce, pasty senior citizens, and the thick smell of melted candles? It sounds terrible, right? Then why do we love it so much? The answer is... TRADITION!!!!

The Oh so traditional Bull.

This year, there was actually far more attendance then in years past. It was packed.

A genuinely freaky doll that one the sweepstakes.

We saw siblings hanging around the art exhibits.Cute Momma standing in front of one of her favorite parts. :)
Haha. I thought this sign was hilarious and sad. ... only at the county fair.
This one was actually really cool.
And adorable children!

So I know it's not much, but I hope you all so far away could feel like you were part of it. Love you so much, and wish you were here. :)

There's nothing quite like that ginormous bull - even in Texas they aren't quite that big! Thanks for the fun walk-through. I almost smelled it :) I honestly miss those fun small-town gatherings so much, here all the fairs and festivals are too big for my taste.

Thanks Rob. I laughed right out loud seeing the genuinely freaky doll and the robot! I love it!

Got to love the county fair! They actually had a to of cars at the car show, that was neat! But the parade was forever slow!!!!

Hey! I am thoroughly HAPPY that you posted! It was fun "coming with you" to the fair. I love our traditional fair trips. So glad this year Mom's not in the hospital with her appendix rupturing! It's nice to see her beautiful smiling face.

A few comments:
1. I love your shirt. You look so handsome.
2. Ava is adorable. Kiss her for me.
3. That stolen kids' sign is horribly sad (I can just see you chuckling)
4. I happen to love that thrown together robot. It makes me wish I could somehow tie a project like that into the English curriculum for 10th grade. Not a chance.

Finally, and most importantly, I LOVE YOU BUDDY!
