It was a phrase I used often through my childhood and still today. I am always looking at people and trying to decide what type of animal or dog a person would be and thought I would share some of my thoughts with popular faces. (Breed descriptions taken from the American Kennel Club)

Eyes--Well set in head. Well protected from briars by an expressive eyebrow.


The Bull Terrier is best described as a three year-old child in a dog suit...
HeadShould be long, strong and deep right to the end of the muzzle, but not coarse...The forehead should be flat across from ear to ear. The distance from the tip of the nose to the eyes should be perceptibly greater than that from the eyes to the top of the skull. The underjaw should be deep and well defined.
..Lips Should be clean and tight.


The Chineese Crested is a fine boned, elegent dog that craves human companionship.
Expression - Alert and intense.
Eyes - Almond-shaped, set apart. Dark-colored dogs have dark-colored eyes, and lighter-colored dogs may have lighter-colored eyes. Eye rims match the coloring of the dog.
