Family Easter 2010

Amber and Jeremy teaching Alyss and Ava the fine art of Easter egg decorating.

Ava couldn't get enough, she kept saying "get it" and then would do the sign for "please"!

Alyss was much more lady like with her egg dunking technique

Amber came prepared with elastics on her arm to wrap around the egg. It made some awesome designs.

Hey everyone, this is the official announcement of my website robwilsonfineart.com I have the whole thing pretty much designed and up with new images too. :) My art blog is going to shift more into my musings about my work and my process. Right now my hosting is with freehostia so its kind of slow. I'm going to look into other hosting and pay for a better bandwidth so for the moment, Sorry if it takes forever to load!

Plein Aire Painting

This is a select few members from The Southern Utah Plein Aire Society of which I am president. We are having a short show in April that will be hosted in Zions National Park so we went down to get some paintings done. We'll be going down as much as possible until April, hoping to get a good show togeather.

There are so manny things I love about Plein Aire Painting, bitter cold, scalding heat, glaring sun, and above all, nature. There was a little thrill seeking masquito who thought he would get a buzz from my oil paint and dragged himself through the block-in of my cliff and made a lovely trail into my sky. If it had been the color fo the trees below I would have been tempted to keep such a mark, but as it was it had to go.

Though blurry, there's the little devil. the southern utah red colored blob on the edge of my canvas.

and there's me working. I'll digitize the finished thing when I get around to it.
