We had a wonderful Thanksgiving here at home with the usual array of fantastic food. Mom wanted me to take a picture of some of her pies for Jami. We also broke Shine to lead and she was vary receptive. She's promising to be a smart little filly.
Mom and I just took a road trip with Aunt Debbie up to Huntington to see family and Trent's reception. The drive went much faster because of a fantastic book by Christopher Paul Curtis BUD, NOT BUDDY. In addition to goodreads I had to blog my personal five star. It was fantastic. Mom and Aunt Debbie would agree with me I'm sure. A side splitting personality rolled into a poignant theme.
Introducing our new foal! Spark foaled on Sunday and brought us this beautiful filly.
Day one with Momma. I'm glad she's now getting more than enough milk and you can hardly see her ribs.
She loves to plop down by momma and lay almost on her back. Its so funny.
One of my favorite things is to watch her tail go crazy when she nurses, or the froth of milk on her lips after. We're blessed nothing went wrong and are so grateful to have her here.
